Treelined Lake Project

Treelined Lake Area, Kenora Mining Division, ON., Canada

MEGA Graphite Inc.’s Treelined Lake property consists of 6 claim units situated on the North Shore of Trout Lake, approximately 80 north of Kenora, Ontario.

Graphite mineralization within the property occurs in high grade metamorphic sedimentary rocks (schists and gneisses) associated with a large magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical anomaly. The graphite is stratigraphically associated with a meta-arkose, which is intruded by granitic rocks and pegmatite. The graphite occurs as disseminated flakes, rosettes and small clusters, associated with minor sulphide mineralization.

Very little exploratory work has been completed on the property to date other than surface trenching and ground geophysical surveys. Assay values from the trenches range up to 5% graphitic carbon along a known strike length of 500 m, indicating the potential for a significant deposit. Mega Graphite Inc plans to conduct further exploration of the mineralized horizon to expand those resources.
